A Fistful Of Dollars Poster

"A Fistful of Dollars" is a rare example of a film that created it's own cinematic genre, in this case, the "Spaghetti Western". The combination of star Clint Eastwood, director Sergio Leone & music by Ennio Morricone, proved box office magic. Two further sequels, "For A Few Dollars More" (1965) & "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" (1966), followed & a slew of Spaghetti Western imitators followed. The artwork on the UK Quad, features Mitchell Hook's illustration for the American campaign, the simplicity of the design adding to the aura of mystery surrounding Eastwood's character. If you own only one Clint Eastwood movie poster, this is THE one to have. Artwork believed to be by Mitchell Hooks.

The Quad shown remains in very good condition. There are a few minor edge nicks, a 1" conservation repair to tear to mid edge, tiny surface paper loss bottom right underneath "It..." & 2 small old tape stains to reverse (to right mid edge & left bottom just above "C" of "Clint") but these are unobtrusive. Overall a very good specimen of this highly collectable title.
