Clockwork Orange Poster

Suitably disturbing design by Philip Castle (one of the pioneers of air-brush painting) on this evocative 70's Poster. The early 70's witnessed a slew of boundary pushing Films (The Exorcist, Last Tango In Paris etc) & Clockwork Orange was no exception. Indeed, when faced with cuts demanded by the Censors, Kubrick stood his ground & refused. As a consequence, Clockwork Orange never received a General Release in the UK (it being shown in the west End only) & thus the print run for the Poster was extremely limited. As a price comparison, one US Gallery currently offers this Poster at a mouth-watering $3,595 !
