Dance Hall Poster

Rare Poster for this Ealing Studios 1950 Drama charting the travails of four girls who attend the local Dance Hall. Charles Crichton created a piece of Social History with this Film, the themes being surprisingly Adult for the times. The Film was blessed with a great Cast, also including Bonar Colleano, Eunice Grayson, Kay Kendall, Dandy Nichols. The Poster design is typical of it's time. The Poster has a little "rub" (where folded prior to the ink setting properly) & there are 2 small Conservation repairs to the reverse but as can be seen, the Poster displays ever so well. A lovely piece of original 1950's Memorabilia & already 60 years old.
