An extremely rare UK 3-Sheet Poster (40"x 80") which has been professionally cleaned & Linen-Backed & is ready for immediate framing. One of the best-loved Ealing Comedies, the Film shows fantastic scenes of post-war London when bomb sites were a regular feature of the terrain. Like many other period Comedies of the time, this was gentle fare, the traumatised & austerity ridden post-war generation looking for just the kind of good humour & mild escapism that the Ealing Studios did so well. All Ealing Posters of this period are highly sought after but large pieces, like this, rarely emerge (Print runs for these larger Posters was strictly limited to begin with & due to their size & being in component parts, those that survived initially were unlikely to remain intact & together given the passage of time). A rare piece of historic C20th British Poster artwork. Slight age staining but still presents beautifully.
