"The Bitch" and its prequel, 1978's "The Stud" were important roles for Collins (whose 70's career was somewhat drifting) as they persuaded TV Executives to cast her in the role of "Alexis Carrington" in the TV series, "Dynasty", a role which resurrected her career.
