Vic Fair McDonnell F-101 Voodoo Artwork

Although Vic Fair was principally a commercial cinema poster artist, he used to paint in his spare time too. He would sometimes sketch family & work colleagues & also liked to do paintings of cars, ships & planes. Here we have a painting on artboard (16"x 20" approx) of the American supersonic jet fighter, the McDonnell F-101 Voodoo. This fighter was in production in the mid-1950's & served with the American & Canadian Air Forces in the late 50's & throughout the 1960's.

This fine illustration was once framed (shown by the markings to the rim) & the artist has signed the piece in the bottom right corner "V.Fair". The artwork is believed to date from the late 1950's.

NB. A supplementary P&P charge will be required for overseas buyers.
