Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for the horror film "Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde" (1941).

Starring Spencer Tracy, Ingrid Bergman & Lana Turner the film was a re-make of the earlier film (1931) which starred Frederic March. Although some colour Quads were still produced in Britain during the war, the wonderful full colour palette afforded to this particular poster suggests a late 1940's re-release. The artwork is spectacular but as is often the case with MGM titles, the artist is unknown.

Poster originally lightly folded but now linen-backed & in superb condition. We can find NO evidence of any restoration or over-painting being required.
