UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for "Dr Who & the Daleks" (1965) with poster illustration by Bill Wiggins.

A fantastic piece of poster illustration that places the infamous Daleks front & centre. This colourful dynamic poster would certainly have demanded attention & created excitement in equal measure. Based on the ever-enduring TV series that started in 1963, this film spin-off starred Peter Cushing as "Dr Who" (he being deemed a more commercial prospect than the TV Dr Who William Hartnell who featured on TV 1963-66). The TV series at this time was broadcast in b/w so the prospect of a film in "COLOUR!" would have been a significant draw & Wiggins makes the point in drammatic fashion with this poster design.

Poster linen-backed with minimal restoration required & remains in excellent display condition.
