Tenebrae Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the Italian Giallo horror film "Tenebrae" (1982) directed by Dario Argento & with poster illustration by Renato Casaro.

This is a scarce Quad poster. The artwork was taken from Renato Casaro's design for the Italian poster campaign (image attached courtesy of emovieposter). According to Mark Hochman of Propstore, the Italian poster imagery was deemed too unsettling for British audiences & so the slit throat was obscured by a red bow on the Quad (adapted by Graffiti Productions). Irrespective, this remains a classy piece of poster illustration which is rarely available in the market.

Poster in excellent totally original un-restored folded condition.
