White Mischief

John Stockle concept Quad poster artwork (19"x 24 1/2") for the crime thriller set in 1940's Kenya "White Mischief" (1987). As comparison with the finished Quad shows (image courtesy of ebay) this conceptual design was commissioned for production.

The artwork is applied to artboard polyboard & is mostly photo-mechanical in nature with a few artwork highlights. This is an excellent example of the artist's work as John Stockle became known for his preference for dark (& sometimes all black) backgrounds in his poster design. "White Mischief" is possibly the best example of this trait.
