Alfie Poster

A linen-backed UK Quad cinema poster for the Michael Caine classic, "Alfie" (1966).

In the canon of collectable Michael Caine film posters "Alfie" (1966), is one of the "must have" four: the others being "Zulu" '64, "The Ipcress File" '65 & "The Italian Job" '69.

The Quad poster design is particularly interesting, the presentation being subsumed & incorporated into the film title, with images of & quotes from, Alfie's female conquests. Caine appears as a photo image as the "dot" over the "i" in the title. This is a poster which is not often available.

Poster originally folded but now linen-backed. Prior to backing the poster had minor edge nicks, surface scuffs etc but while these have been minimised, this is not a linen-backed poster that has been extensively over-painted ie, it remains in 99% original condition.
