Amadeus Poster

A 2022 officially licensed screenprint AMP poster (24"x 36") for Tom Hulce-Mozart film "Amadeus" (1984) with artwork by Laurent Durieux.

This sceenprint was a run of just 200 posters (hand-numbered to lower left corner) & was printed on specialist "300gsm Gmund Bauhaus" paper. A typically inventive Durieux design.

This poster is in mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
