Back To Eternity Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the American adventure "Back To Eternity" (1956) starring Anita Ekberg, Robert Ryan & Rod Steiger.

The poster design of the Quad borrows from the US 1/2-Sheet (image courtesy of emovieposter). This film marked Anita Ekberg's first top-line starring role & much of the publicity surrounding the film was focused on the Nordic blonde bombshell: the trailer gave Ekberg great prominence comparing her to Greta Garbo & Ingrid Bergman & the US 1-Sheet led with the text "Ooh That Ekberg!".

Poster folded with pin-holes, small tape stains & several small conservation tape repairs to edge tears (longest 1 1/2") to the reverse etc. These condition issues are not particularly obtrusive & this is a 50's Quad that is not often seen.
