City Under the Sea Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the British scifi thriller "City In The Sea" (1965) aka "War-Gods of the Deep".

Starring Vincent Price, the film was based on a tale by Edgar Allan Poe & set in a small Cornish fishing village. Whilst the Quad poster shares certain elements with the Reynold Brown designed US 1-Sheet poster, the main image of the generously proportioned girl (Susan Hart) indicates the Quad was by Chantrell.

Poster folded with some edge nicks, pin-holes to corners etc.
