Dracula Has Risen From The Grave (Autographed) Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for the Hammer horror film "Dracula Has Risen From The Grave" (1968) with poster illustration by Tom Chantrell & autographed by actor, Christopher Lee.

Chantrell lacked a suitable reference photo for the "Dracula" pose he desired so he had a colleague photograph himself in the desired pose & then Chantrell effectively painted himself in the place of Christoper Lee. This is one of the best-known of all Chantrell Hammer horror titles (he dominated Hammer's advertising output 1965-71). As mark of the esteem that Chantrell is held in academic circles, the original artwork for this poster now resides in the collection of the V&A Museum (for more please see: https://www.chantrellposter.com/Dracula-Has-Risen-From-The-Grave-Chantrell-Artwork-Original/797).

Of further interest, this poster has been signed by Christopher Lee who played "Dracula" in the film. This autograph was obtained at a London Christopher Lee signing in the early 2000's.

Prior to linen-backing the poster was folded & in good condition. There has been some touching-in to slight staining to the bottom white rim & a couple of tiny places to left/right rims but the artwork on the poster appears to have required minimal restoration & the poster now displays to impressive effect.
