UK Quad cinema poster for the American horror spoof "Dracula Sucks" (1979) with poster art by Tom Chantrell.

In original release form in the US, this was a porn film starring Jamie Gillis, Annette Haven & John Holmes. Occasionally in the 1970's-80's, such films were picked up by independent UK distributors, heavily censored & then released as soft-core alternatives to UK audiences. As a freelancer, Chantrell illustrated several such examples, his sense of humour & tongue-in-cheek designs complimenting the fare on offer. The print run for this release was small & this Quad is a scarce Chantrell title. Chantrell was paid a total of £300 for his "rough" & the finished artwork for this poster. NB.
