Eyewitness Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the British thriller "Eyewitness" (1970) aka "Sudden Terror" with poster illustration by Mike Vaughan.

Shot on location on Malta the film has Mark Lester as a boy who witnesses a murder & then goes on the run with his older sister, Susan George. Among the support cast were the likes of Peter Bowles & David Lodge. An interesting poster design by Mike Vaughan though it is likely that Susan George was less than flattered by his depiction of her in the lower right corner. 1970 was something of a "breakthrough" year for Susan George as she was seen in a further three Big Screen releases during the year: "The Looking Glass War", "London Affair" & "Spring & Port Wine" with various TV appearances on top too.

Poster folded with some foldline wear, edge nicks, some old tape repairs to the reverse & a little "foxing" to lower mid area. Still a scarce poster for a relatively little-known British thriller.
