Gorgo Poster

Scarce UK Quad cinema poster for the British scifi-horror film "Gorgo" (1961).

The film was clearly inspired by the "Godzilla" phenomenon but was well regarded nonetheless. The special effects were considered to be of high quality, the giant amphibian wrecking London landmarks being a highlight. The fabulous poster design presents a blood red skyline, a 3-D effect film title, two rapacious claws, chaos, mayhem & fleeing crowds. A real crowd pleaser!

Poster folded with minor corner damage & several tiny edge nicks (repaired to the reverse with conservation tape) but this scarce poster remains in totally original condition with no over-painting/infills etc & displays to very good effect as can be seen.
