Heineken Advertising Poster

Advertising poster (15"x 30") for "Heineken" (1976) from the hugely successful "Refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach" marketing campaign.

Devised in the 1970's, the "Refreshes" Heineken campaign used humour to suggest that it's beer had "transformative" qualities (& was therefore better than others). The artist was Mike Terry. A copy of this poster is held in the collection of the V&A Museum.

Poster unfolded with some "foxing".
