Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for the British comedy "Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush" (1967).

A really interesting Vic Fair design for this poster illustrated with psych pop-art figures and with the highly innovative use of silver foil on the poster (see Branaghan "British Film Posters" 2006). As poster budgets were strictly controlled, this ground-breaking design feature was most unusual and when this scarce poster is seen, more often than not, the foil has come adrift. The cutting-edge design of this poster was recognised at the time & the Victoria & Albert Museum exhibited Vic's original artwork 1967-68. The V&A hold both prototype artwork & a proof poster for "Here We Go Round..." in their current collection.

The film's 1960's pedigree was embellished with a contemporary soundtrack, The Spencer Davis Group, Steve Winwood & Traffic all being credited on the poster.

Poster originally folded but now linen-backed. Prior to backing the poster was in very good condition. There was slight foldline wear & a tiny mark to the right & above the "H" of "BUSH", this now hardly visible. There has been air-brushing to a few small areas of the white background only.
