Island Of Monte Cristo Poster

UK Quad poster for the American historical romp "Island Of Monte Cristo" (1953) (aka "Sword of Venus").

For an early 50's film poster the illustration in parts is fairly risque. Interestingly too the RKO distribution logos have been over-stickered with "Butcher's Film" insignia. This suggests the poster is an original 1st release RKO Quad which has subsequently been re-used for a later Butcher's release.

Poster with a few pin-holes to corners/rim etc & several small pen annotations to rim but overall in very good condition.
