James Bond Various Poster

An interesting original 1970's James Bond curio, this being a "cinema" poster (20"x 30") designed to be sold to children who would have had their names printed ("starring") in the blank space as done here. The poster was published by "MJ". Interestingly we have seen the same poster but carrying an alternate "Gleaner Graphics" credit. Presumably this short-lived initiative to squeeze more money from Mums & Dads visiting cinemas with their children, led to the enterprising company behind the scheme changing hands.

The poster design has echoes of that for "Diamonds Are Forever", so is likely to date c' 1971-72. It is thought that the artist might be Ted Baldwin.

The poster is rolled with a couple of minor edge nicks. A fascinating & unusual piece of Bond memorabilia.
