La Dolce Vita Poster

Italian Photobusta linen-backed poster (NB 26 1/2"x 37 1/2") for Federico Fellini's "La Dolce Vita" aka "The Sweet Life" (1960).

This is a scarce poster format for this film (Heritage Auctions last had one of these in 2013). The poster presents a montage of b/w photos of characters from the film with two background scenes (one featuring the Paparazzi) & the text in an attractive pink centrepiece. "La Dolce Vita" is regarded both as an Italian cinematic masterpiece & one of the greatest movies ever made.

Poster once folded but now linen-backed. The poster has had extensive restoration to creases/foldline wear etc but this restoration has been carried out to an excellent professional standard & is only apparent on very close scrutiny or under a UV lamp. A genuinely rare poster (map chest 7).
