Mad Max Fury Road Poster

Rare UK Quad cinema poster for "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015), this being the one day viewing "Black & Chrome" version.

Originally director George Miller wanted to release the film in b/w but the general release was made in full colour (the normal Quads reflect this ie, they are full colour -see the image attached for comparison). However, a "black & chrome" version was released in a limited number of cinemas for one day only screenings. This poster was printed in tiny numbers & is rare.

The question as to why Miller wanted to use a limited colour palette has been debated. It unquestionably affects the tone of the film, accentuating the feeling of dystopian desolation. Some argue too that Miller is the kind of director who invites his audience to "imagine", the paucity of dialogue & colour encouraging this. Irrespective, what has resulted is an instant collectable in the form of this poster!

Poster unfolded, single-sided, with minor creasing only & overall in excellent condition. This poster will be sent rolled in a tube (back office).
