Never Say Never Again Poster

UK Quad Advance cinema poster for the James Bond film "Never Say Never Again" (1983).

This was to be Connery's last Bond film & his first as Bond since "Diamonds Are Forever" 1971 (it is debatable whether Connery should have remained true to his word & resisted the "comeback" lure). The release of NSNA pitched this Bond film (& Connery) into direct competition with Roger Moore whose sixth Bond film "Octopussy" was released at about the same time. In an effort to hype the credentials of "their" Bond, the distributors of NSNA presented a simple photographic image of Connery gun in hand with the rest of the poster plastered with repeating "007" text!

Poster folded with printed West End release date bottom right. This Advance format Quad is far scarcer than the General Release artwork Quad. Writing to the reverse which does NOT show through.
