Odeon Exhibition Poster

Fascinating piece of 20th century cinema memorabilia, an original poster (24"x 32 1/2") for an "Odeon Exhibition" staged at the Architectural Association, at their London HQ in Bedford Square, in July 1973.

The poster shows an illustration of the magnificent Odeon, Sutton Coldfield, built in 1936. The illustration was by French artist Charles-Jean Hallo (aka ALO). ALO's work is very collectable & an example of this very poster was offered via a Parisian Auction House on 3rd July 2025 with an EST Euros 1,500-3,000 (dns).

Poster rolled with light creasing/edge nicks to rim & a 1 1/4" tear to lower right border. However, this is a rare poster (already over 50 years old!), one with sound academic credentials, a fine Art Deco illustration & displays to excellent effect. Poster priced in accordance with condition (Box 1 C).
