Restless Natives

Interesting Vic Fair concept artwork (24 1/2"x 34") for the Scottish comedy "Restless Natives" (1985).

As comparison with the printed Quad shows: https://www.moviepostermem.com/Restless-Natives-Poster/63239 Vic Fair's design figures prominently in the composition of the poster. Interestingly to the bottom rim of the artwork is the handwritten note "Seen As Photographic Artwork" so presumably the artist was briefed to deliver a composition that could then be staged & photographed.

The artwork consists of colour wash & pen & ink illustration applied to pieces of paper which have been overlaid onto card (this was a typical approach that Fair took in developing his compositions).
