Star Wars Poster

Rare 36-page set of early Production Notes for "Star Wars" (1977) written & compiled by the "Star Wars" unit publicist Brian Doyle (provenance included).

This document dates from 1975-76 during the early stages of filmimg. Koo Stark as "Camie" is listed as the fifteenth cast member but her scenes were cut & she never appeared inthe theatrical release of the film (her deleted scenes can be seen in "Star Wars: Behind The Magic" 1998). Included in the Production Notes is cast/crew information, an introduction, synopsis & extensive biographical info about the key production team & cast. There are several small pencil annotations in this set & the staple has rusted. NB. Although two sets of Production Notes are pictured, ONE SET ONLY IS BEING SOLD CURRENTLY.

Apart from "Star Wars", Doyle also worked in a similar role on movies such as "Make Mine Mink" (1960), "Paranoiac" (1963), "Straw Dogs" (1971), "The Man Who Would Be King" (1975), "Wild Geese" (1978), "Alien" (1979), "For Your Eyes Only" (1981) etc.

This was one of two sets of Production Notes that belonged to Doyle. A leter of provenance written by Doyle's son will be provided confirming this. This is a fascinating early piece of original "Star Wars" memorabilia.
