The Lair of The White Worm

Two Vic Fair concept artworks (14"x 20") for the Ken Russell horror-comedy "The Lair of The White Worm" (1988).

Based on the Bram Stoker story, the film starred the eclectic talents of Amanda Donohoe, Hugh Grant, Catherine Oxenburg, Peter Capaldi, Stratford Johns & Linzi Drew. Vic Fair's artworks consist of two photo-mechanical prints with his pen & ink impressions of a crucifix with eyes on the horizontal & a serpent's head to the base. The artist has painted in the red & green hues, experimenting to achieve the best desired effect. An intriguing piece of poster design that sadly never made it to print.

Both items are being sold together & would frame to excellent effect. Each has some surface marking & one has a conservation tape repair to upper left corner but these could be trimmed/obscured with framing.
