The Legend Of The 7 Golden Vampires Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the Kung Fu-Horror film "The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires" (1974).

This was one of the last films released by the ailing 20th century Hammer Studios. Made in Hong Kong, "Legend.." was clearly designed to cash-in on the contemporary popularity of Bruce Lee & all things martial arts. The making of the film was a fraught affair & culture clashes abounded. Though Chantrell was responsible for an initial prototype design, the final Quad poster was designed by Vic Fair with illustration by Arnaldo Putzu.

The poster has a sticker bottom right, this being added due to a design fault which credited "Robin Stuart" rather than "Robin Stewart". Poster in excellent folded condition.
