The Line King Poster

US 1-Sheet single-sided unfolded movie poster for the documentary "The Line King" (1996) about the celebrated American caricaturist Al Hirschfield.

Hirschfield (1903-2003) specialised in b/w caricatures of stars of the stage & screen. His work appeared in magazines & movie posters too. This documetary featured many of those Hirschfield had drawn. The poster carries 18 separate caricatures around the rim & a colour self-portrait in the centre.

Poster unfolded & in excellent condition (minor crease to bottom left rim only). A relatively scarce US 1-Sheet title especially in the UK (a linen-backed example sold in the US 3/21 for $210).
