The Lost Boys Poster

A 2012 licensed Mondo screenprint poster (18"x 24") for the Vampire classic "The Lost Boys" (1987) with artwork by the design team "We Buy Your Kids".

This unusual Pop-Art/Avant Garde design sold out on release, only 125 posters ever being printed. The poster has been hand-numbered in pencil to the bottom border. Poster in near mint condition (slight mark upper right corner only). The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
