The Man Who Fell To Earth Poster

UK Quad cinema poster (30"x 40") for the David Bowie film "The Man Who Fell To Earth" (1976) featuring poster artwork by Vic Fair.

This is one of Vic Fair's best known poster compositions. The artist stayed up all night working on the design to win the commission. The poster design includes an interplay between several geometric shapes. This was a design feature Fair experimented with frequently in the mid-1970's. TMWFTE was Bowie's first big screen acting role.

This poster remains in scarce unfolded condition. There is minor damage to the corners as shown & two small old tape marks to mid left/right rim. Poster priced in accordance with condition. A fab piece of Bowie memorabilia & an excellent example of Vic Fair's artwork.
