Thunderball Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for "Thunderball" (1965) with poster illustration by Robert McGinnis.

A lovely piece of uncompromising Bond poster artwork with Sean Connery as Bond depicted imperious, surrounded by a bevy of exotic beauties (when this poster was used in Ireland it was often censored with the bathing costumes coloured in as one-pieces!). Note the lovely typography of "Look Out" with "OO7" cleverly worked into the layout. Please note we do not photo enhance our images, so the bold vibrant colours shown are real!

Poster once folded but now linen-backed. The poster appears to have been in excellent condition prior to backing. Some airbrushing to the background but otherwise no other restoration evident. The linen overhang has been trimmed to 2-3mm of the poster but the poster is full size. The image shows the poster laid on top of a conservation sleeve (not included in the sale) & will be sent rolled in a tube.
