True As A Turtle Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the British comedy "True As A Turtle" (1957).

A stunning piece of poster artwork. Although this has previously been attributed in the past to Brian Bysouth, it is not by him. Almost certainly a piece of artwork by one of the Italian artists who often supplied artwork to the Downton ad agency but identity currently unknown (note the signature in the bottom left corner). The film recounted the humorous events of a cross channel honeymoon cruise. Some filming took place on the River Hamble & the Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

Poster folded with pin-holes to corners, a tiny conservation tape strengthener to one crossfold & overall in excellent condition (we have NOT PhotoShopped the image - the colours are genuinely this bold & vibrant!).
