Uncle Buck Poster

A 2020 privately commissioned ("Fan Art") screenprint AMP poster (24"x 36") for the American comedy starring John Candy & Macaulay Culkin "Uncle Buck" (1989) by the artist Ryan Gadja.

This Fan Art poster was printed in a tiny number only, this being one of only 35 ever printed. The riot of colour in the design reflects the comic nature of Uncle Buck (Candy) who gets landed with caring for his brother's children! This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted. At the time of listing we could find only one other example of this poster for sale, in the US for £261, excluding Customs duties.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables (S).
