You Only Live Twice Poster

UK Quad linen-backed Style-C cinema poster (31"x 41") for the Sean Connery Bond film "You Only Live Twice" (1967).

In contrast to the Frank McCarthy Style-A & Style-B Quad poster designs (which were crammed with dynamic action scenes) the Robert McGinnis Style-C poster focuses on Bond's sex appeal in the exotic setting of Japan! Of the three YOLT Quads it is this "bath tub" scene which is the most sought after.

Prior to backing the poster was folded with light wear & several small edge nicks. The white background has been airbrush restored for aesthetic purposes. There is a little restoration to Bond's left side tuxedo shoulder & to several areas of foldline wear. These touch-ins have been done to a high standard & are apparent only upon close inspection. The poster displays to excellent effect as shown (this is one of the slightly larger 31"x 41" Quads from the later print run but still for the FIRST release of the film).
