A Clockwork Orange Poster

A 2020 licensed 6-colour screenprint Mondo poster (24"x 36") for "A Clockwork Orange" (1971) with artwork by Wylie Beckert.

This hand-numbered screenprint poster is an Artist's Proof limited edition of just 38 posters. Printed by DL screenprinting, the poster was designed to have a "retro" feel with apparent "foxing" spots but this is a deliberate feature of the print & all other examples shared this characteristic. The artwork pitches the mentally tormented "Alex" (Malcolm McDowell) inside the cage of a partially peeled orange. Please note that whereas the regular edition of this art print numbered 175, the Artist's Proof is far scarcer with only 38 copies available.

This poster is in excellent condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
