Android Poster

UK 1-Sheet (27"x 40") cinema poster for the sci-fi thriller "Android" (1982) the poster coming from the personal collection of the artist responsible for the illustration, Tom Beauvais (a signed letter of authenticity will accompany this piece).

The poster was a collaborative effort between Tom Beauvais who provided the painted illustration under the film title & airbrush artist Keith Fowles (Beauvais has affixed a hand-written note to this effect on the lower right rim).

Tom Beauvais worked closely with Tom Chantrell at the Allardyce ad agency before setting up his own business, "Chapman-Beauvais" in 1975. Among the vast roster of posters Beauvais created were "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid (1969), "Fantastic Voyage" (1966), Mad Max (1979) & Zombie Flesh Eaters" (1980).

Poster unfolded with paper loss to upper corners, various small edge nicks & a repair to 4" edge tear bottom right but still displays to excellent effect (this & the other posters we're selling from the Beauvais collection were previously affixed to polyboard for lectures which the artist gave early in his retirement).
