Star Trek IV The Voyage Home Poster

A 2024 licensed screenprint poster (24"x 36") for "Star Trek IV" (1986) with artwork by Steve Chorney.

Just 85 of these posters were issued. Chorney seems to pay homage in his design to Bob Peak's original artwork for the debut "Star Trek" (1979) movie poster - see https://www.moviepostermem.com/Star-Trek-Poster/61246. The Chorney composition incudes a gold flecked metallic finish on the title script. Poster hand-numbered in the bottom right corner.

This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
