Apocalypse Now Poster

A 2023 Fan Art screenprint poster (24"x 36") for "Apocalypse Now" (1979) by the artist Paul Mann.

"Fan Art" posters are private commissions & as such are printed in tiny numbers. This poster is one of only 96 ever issued. The poster has been hand-numbered numbered in the bottom right hand corner. A typical "montage" design by Paul Mann, the poster is printed on "Fedrigoni Materica Gesso" paper. Mann is regarded as something as a doyen of the AMP scene & one of the most popular artists in the market.

This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
