Poster with an iconic image from the Vietnam movie canon. The film continued the post-war soul-searching by Hollywood following America's trauma following the end of the Vietnam War & trod in the footsteps of similarly powerful films such as "The Deer Hunter" (1978) & "Apocalypse Now" (1979). Like it's predecessors "Platoon" was feted at the Oscars, winning four, including both "Best Picture" & "Best Director".

Poster originally folded but subsequently rolled & in excellent overall condition.
