Starring Mike Myers & Liz Hurley, "Austin Powers" was a commercial hit spawning two sequels (in 1999 & 2002). The film was initially only a modest success in the UK, it's light-hearted jokey tone not in keeping with the sombre national mood following the death of Princess Diana.
