Gambit 2012

TWO Graham Humphreys artworks (15"x 22" & 11 1/2"x 23") that comprised the finished artwork for the UK 1-Sheet poster for the 2012 re-make of "Gambit" (1966) (see imdb for reference: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0404978/mediaviewer/rm2653170176/?ref_=tt_ov_i).

The 2012 film starred Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz & Alan Rickman. The artwork exhibits deliberate "James Bond" type references, including Firth/Diaz posing a la "Octopussy" & a Blofeld cat etc. An interesting piece of Humphreys artwork, being a piece that is outside the artist's usual genre of horror!

The artwork is executed in gouache on watercolour paper (minor crease bottom edge of larger artwork).
