Back Home Poster

A fascinating little item, this being a four-sided programme for "Back Home" a revue presented by "Stalag Luft III" c' 1946-48.

Stalag Luft III was the scene of "The Great Escape" & the POW camp concert party were re-united for this revue at the Stoll Theatre, London to raise funds for the British Red Cross just after the war. The show was compered by Talbot Rothwell (of Carry On fame) & numbered among the cast Peter Butterworth (a fellow POW & Carry On regular) & the future actor Rupert Davies.

Item in very good condition.
