Back To The Future Poster

A 2018 licenced Mondo Poster (24"x 36") for the classic sci-fi adventure-comedy "Back To The Future" (1985).

This Steven Spielberg produced film spawned two sequels (1989 & 1990) each starring Michael J Fox as "Marty McFly". The poster artwork (showing the De Lorean) is by the design team of Dan Kuhlken & Nathan Goldman. This poster is the striking foil variant printed on 10pt metallic rainbow foil & is one of a strictly limited edition of 200 sold by Mondo (this numbered "7/200").

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.

This poster has no discernible faults & is as close to mint as you will find (we handle these posters with proper conservation quality gloves in order to keep them as pristine as possible). The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. For an idea of relative value Heritage Auctions sold the more "common" regular version (375 in the print run) for $408 in June 2021. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.
