Billion Dollar Brain Poster

UK Quad conservation paper-backed cinema poster for the third & final of the Michael Caine "Harry Palmer" thrillers, the "Billion Dollar Brain" (1967).

This was the final film in the Michael Caine-Harry Palmer trilogy, the round sticker to the right side hyping this! The artwork for the Quad (artist unidentified) embraced the Pop-Art sensibilities of the time in contrast to the designs of both "The Ipcress File" (1965) see: https://www.moviepostermem.com/The-Ipcress-File-Poster/63406 & "Funeral In Berlin" (1966). Although an interesting poster design, "Billion Dollar Brain", helmed by Big Screen "newcomer" Ken Russell, was less well received than the first two films which perhaps explains the vast pricing differential between the three Quads in the series. A poster that is perhaps under-valued currently by the market but which is relatively scarce too.

Poster lightly folded with pin-holes to corners, a few small edge nicks, some creasing & several small surface marks but now paper-backed with almost no restoration. The excess conservation paper backing has been trimmed about 1/4" away from the poster edge. Will be sent rolled in a tube. A poster in very good condition with an interesting design & an important poster in the Michael Caine back catalogue (office).
