Boom Poster

UK Quad conservation paper-backed poster for "Boom!" (1968) with poster illustration by Putzu.

"Boom" was yet another film starring the volatile Taylor-Burton duo (their passionate off-screen relationship enlivened all their shared sceen roles) and provided Taylor with another Tennessee Williams written vehicle. The film was set on a Mediterranean island where a dying millionairess takes her lover. The poster provides a nice impressionistic image of the two stars.

Prior to backing the poster was folded with very slight darkeneing to areas of the uppermost rim but the poster appears to have had no restoration & displays to excellent effect (map chest 7).
