Bundle Of Joy Poster

UK Quad poster for the musical "Bundle Of Joy" (1956) starring Eddie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds.

Reynolds & Fisher were something of the "It" couple at the time having married in '55 & the poster proudly proclaims "In Their First Picture Together". Sadly their marital bliss was short-lived. When Elizabeth Taylor's third husband Mike Todd died in a plane crash, friends Reynolds & Fisher offered support & before long Eddie Fisher ditched Reynolds & became husband number four for Liz Taylor. The daughter of Reynolds & Fisher, Carrie Fisher, was later to achieve fame via "Star Wars" (1977)

Poster folded & printed on heavier paper stock with pin-holes to corners/rim & several old tape marks to edges. Colours still bold & vibrant. A good example of the bright & breezy poster designs that accompanied such light-hearted & joyous 1950's movie productions.
