Bus Stop Poster

UK linen-backed Double-Crown cinema poster for the Marilyn Monroe romantic-comedy "Bus Stop" (1956) with poster illustration by Tom Chantrell.

Chantrell provides some particularly luscious illustration here, delivering what is arguably the best poster depiction of the iconic star on any movie poster. Chantrell was obviously pleased with his creation as the poster carries his printed signature.

Prior to backing the poster was folded with a minor water stain to lower white rim which has been minimised without over-painting. A poster that displays to excellent effect.
